Interviews: Grievers

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Hard Metalcore/Death Metal/Djent band Grievers from Italy. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Planned? Absolutely not....let's say a lot of time to the playstation hehehehehe

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Beacause we love it and it's all naturally, don't exist limit in writening.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Not really, let's say while the first line-up was formed.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Oh my God!!! there are too many hahahahahaha ... and the beauty is knowing how to capture something a little bit from all the ones you like, however, everything has take to life thanks to the Pantera.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Ehehehehe ... good question! Do you think that The Eternal Pleasure Of Revenge is the mix of 5 heads, everything was written in the riff for riff, this album is really an incredible job, it takes from 2 to 5 listen to understand the whole album but then becomes a drug .. .

6. What inspires us to make this music?

You must have it in blood.

7. Where was your last gig?

Saturday 14 July @Rock Inn Somma 2018 summer metal festival in Italy, fantastic evening!

8. Where would you like to act?

Play if anything! The great summer festivals are always live which bring good experiences and above all help to grow the bands.

9. Whom would you like to feature with?

Many bands ... but in particular bands like: After The Burial, Archenemy, Devil Driver, Parkway Drive, Heaven Shall Burn, August Burns Red and many others.

10. Whom not?

The performing in festivals or in concerts with bands that do not play your part always brings a bit of bitterness, fans are not unique in the genre and this brings a bit of unbalance and a less obvious energy between bands and fans.

11. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

O yeah.... this is a very serious problem, a really difficult problem to overcome, in our experience we think that unfortunately the musicians who have this problem must first think of themselves before finding a band! In the past our first drummer suffered a lot from this disorder, so much so that we decided to split up and then we found Valentino De Lucia the band's current drummer.

12. What bands have inspired you the most?

In Reflecting Evil: Archenemy, Children Of Bodom, In Flames, Amon Amarth and Dark Tranquillity while in The Eternal Pleasure Of Revenge: Parkway Drive, After The Burial, August Burns Red, The Black Dahlia Murders, Devil Driver and more.

13. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To play at his wedding.

14. What do you think of your fans?

We are not a great band, so we like to think that we have many friends who follow us, lovers of the genre who can discover a new band that creates and plays music for their tastes ... as far as we are concerned the real fans are the people who they are closer to us who stimulate us and give us new energy to make new music.

We think that the more sites there are that talk about metal music, the more exciting it is to continue making music to continue to be known by new fans. Thank you and www.grievers.net
