Track By Track: Cultural Warfare - Warmageddon (2018)

1. WARMAGEDDON:

WARMAGEDDON is a futuristic take on machines and computers winning a war against the human race. The BLOOD MACHINES see where humans are at all times with their all-seeing eye, which helps them capture and feed on the human race. This song was set up by our last EP with the songs “FUTURE KILL” and “OUR DEAD EARTH”

2. DIVIDED WE CRAWL:

This is a song about how today’s society is moving in all different directions. Everyone does not listen to others and think there is only one way the world should be headed. Everyone is divided, and in this instance, if we stay divided ,we will only crawl as a society.

3. G.O.D.:

This song pays homage to BRUCE LEE. The title stands for GAME OF DEATH which is obviously one of his movies.

4. EYES OF THE LAND:

A very “cool” story about America's NATIVE AMERICANS and how they have watched over the land since the beginning. They oversee the bad and the good and use their religions and spirit to watch, learn, and help the earth to stay healthy despite the human race.

5. TWO SPIRITS:

Inspired by the T.V. show BATES MOTEL. It is a story about a brother's and sister's dependency on each other because of a much tormented upbringing. The sister can’t live without her brother so she takes him to the other world in death. A very dark story in the vein of KING DIAMOND

6. POLITIKILL:

A song that tells how politics and leaders try and rule without the approval of the people and how they continue to push what the people want to the wayside to pursue their own rules with corruption.

7. SCARS LEFT COLD:

This is about the price soldiers pay with P.T.S.D. as well as the scorn some have taken when a society does not support the soldiers cause. This being said, the song stays positive and shows how a soldier is honorable and strong.

8. PUNISHED:

Anyone that reads comic books is familiar with the character “THE PUNISHER.” It was influenced by that character from reading books and watching the movies. So, a vigilante song which is METAL!

9. WITCHES PRAYER:

A dark story about someone trying to find the fountain of youth but after exhausting all methods the person delves into magic hoping to retain health and youth. The end result is not good.

10. SHADOW PRIEST:

A fictional story about a chapel filled with evil priests who worship dark ideals.

11. BLOOD MACHINES:

Connecting to the song “WARMAGEDDON” at the beginning of the album, this song puts in motion on how the blood machines chase and rule the human race but also explains a little about what the machines are made of. Metal Hearts, silver flows through their veins, devil's flesh, etc. So the machines are part mechanical and organic but are something that has never been seen before.

12. NEW BEGINNINGS:

An instrumental song tying in with “WARMAGEDDON” and “BLOOD MACHINES,” It ends the album but sets up a possible trip into more future wars between the machines and humans. So, not quite a conceptual album, but some songs do relate to each other which is a very fun process in writing music.
