Behind The Artworks: Out Of My Way - Whistleblower (2018)

The artwork for Whistleblower started out as a simple idea. We all knew we wanted an artwork with some kind of character or something that could continue on throughout our whole discography and so we came up with the idea of the guy that’s on the cover of Whistleblower. He’s also the guy in our animated music video for our song “Why She Left” and he’s on the cover for our latest single “Built to Last” released in July earlier this year.

On the cover of Whistleblower this guy (that still doesn’t have a name) is looking out at a town that’s in complete anarchy. On one side of the cover a politician is pointing fingers trying to get people to do as he please and on the other side a guy in a backwards baseball cap is yelling in a megaphone while people around him are demonstrating with signs that contain lyrics from our EP. The whole idea of the cover was to strengthen the message behind all our songs on the EP; make a statement and stand up for what you believe is right. If you are dissatisfied with something, say it! We pitched the idea to our graphic designer and animator David Andersson (who made all of our artworks and music videos) and he portrayed our visions just as we imagined.
