Interviews: Kill All The Gentlemen

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metal band Kill All The Gentlemen from UK. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The hunt for a band name is becoming more and more difficult, almost impossible to come up with one that hasn't been taken. Everyone is in a band these days it seems. We were driving to our local watering hole one day in Devon and drove past a stone on the side of the road with The Battle Of Fenny Bridges. This was during the Prayer Book Rebellion of 1549. Throats were cut and the river ran red in this field. The order given by the king was to "kill all the gentlemen!" The name had history, it has definition, it is local to where we live but most importantly it sounds pretty metal!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because I can't sing and I can't dance.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes we did. A couple of us have been friends for several years and played in separate bands and gigged together quite a lot back in the day.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Adam- Iron Maiden
Ben- Machine Head
Chris- Cradle Of Filth
Tom- Eminem

These are my top 4 to be honest!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Current state of mind. Usually when I'm pissed off. Metal is about being pissed off and venting, right?

6. Where was your last gig?

Mammothfest, Brighton, UK supporting Decapitated.

7. Where would you like to act?

I would like to play Download festival at some point. Or Wacken....

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Well Cradle Of Filth was always on my bucketlist and now that is happening next month. I'm gonna say Iron Maiden next haha! Or Eminem.

9. Whom not?

Beyonce. I don't think we would be appreciated.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Weirdly no, if you're ready, you're ready. Fail to prepare, then prepare to fail.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Most people say we sound like Machine Head dosed up on crack.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Group sex.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans. It gives us a sense of purpose. It's so fulfilling to know people are on the same page as you with your music. Thank you everyone.

14. What do you think of our site?

Great! Because you are featuring us!

15. Something add?

Thanks for your support!
