Interviews: Life Underfoot

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Pop Punk band Life Underfoot from USA. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We've actually have been waiting for this question hahaha, well it was back in mine and Emory's 10th grade Biology teachers room, and he had a poster that said Life Underfoot and had a cut out section of the life underneath us, and that night i went home to see if anyone else had it and couldn't find anyone!!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It's what we enjoy playing and combines everything we enjoy listening to, keeps it fun and

interesting.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Emory and myself (Andre) actually went to school with each other since second grade. Then I introduced Emory to James after I met James through a couple local shows

4. Each band member favourite band?

Nirvana for Emory

Dream Theather for James

Brand New for Andre

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everyday life in general, try not to focus on one topic so people don't read to deep into the songs. I want them to find their own meaning from our songs and be inspired.

6. Where was your last gig?

Syracuse, New York with our buddies The Shuvits rad local Syracuse band, The Crazies from Rochester, New York, and Vitamin K from Des Moines, Iowa.

7. Where would you like to perform?

We'd really love to play down in NYC eventually, as well as Albany, New York.

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

I would love to play with/tour with vitamin k those guys were rad and I'd just love to be able to watch them night after night.

9. Whom not?

Lol Guns and Roses, am not a fan at all.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Oh of course I'm sure each of us has experienced stage fright, best way to beat it is to remember this is what you wanna do and your passion, and 9/10 everyone is gonna enjoy you!!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

For this particular band we'd say Brand New and Man Overboard. We incorperate the dual vocals of M.O. with Brand New's rawness

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Oh this one girl was trying to get some of Emory's hair, don't know why but he's popular with the ladies.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Love them they make this 1000 times more fun, playing to no one gets old fast hahaha.

14. What do you think of our site?

Wicked cool!! I love anything music related, plus we're so thankful that we got to talk to you and be on your site.

15. Something to add?
