Interviews: Sludgehammer

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band Sludgehammer from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

We stole it from another band. Their remains are under our drum riser. Fortunately, when we jam, we generate a putrid smell from our B.O, so no one suspects anything

It just came out like that

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

Because we can't rap, so we have no choice but to be broke and sweaty. Because we love the genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes. We had to kill one person each.

No. We answered ads online.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Fern: Spice girls,  Slayer

Jeff: Phil Colins, Pantera

Tyler: Brojob, Canibal Corpse

Dan: Peter Gabriel, Iron Maiden

Josh: Kanye, Dying Fetus

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Jesus.

Whoever we happen to be listening to at the time

6. Where was your last gig? 

Hamilton

7. Where would you like to act? 

In game of thrones

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

The real slim shady

Rick Astly

Not sure. They'd have to be pretty bad for us to not want to collaborate.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Hard liquor

Yes. Just practice and desensatising yourself to being on stage. Open Mic night is good for that.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

They am dildos.
