Interviews: LOGICAL TERROR

In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band LOGICAL TERROR from Italy. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We not exactly planned it, but since we were looking for the right moniker able to figure the abstract entity of the sound, heavy cutting riffs, melodies, electronics, both clean and aggressive vocals, yeah the mix was a Logical Terror for all of us!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because our idea is to play just fresh and aggressive music, anything usual, but a progressive evolution of the main proposal, from a modern metal attitude to one higher technical level.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

When the project was born in 2008, all the former members came from bands from the local music scene, so we knew each other, right now after the latest line-up changes, we engaged some people thanks to the web too.

4. Each band member favorite band?

All of us listen to different bands from Tool to Devin Townsend, Korn, Monuments, Gojira or Fear Factory...

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Music may turn from heavy songs to soft ones, it depends on the mood we want to display and the lyrics. In all the two albums released before we used to create concept lyrics based on man vs nature, and man vs technology and all the questions related to human fate.

6. Where was your last gig?

Recently we played at a very nice festival in North Italy, near Trento, with a great landscape and cool people.

7. Where would you like to act?

There are some countries where we would like to act like Sweden, where they have a lot of great festivals, but sure France or Germany were we are looking to play in September, and the U.S. or Canada can still be a sweet dream.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

I could tell you an endless list of bands we would love to feature with, but for sure Meshuggah is one of them.

9. Whom not?

I think there is no reason not to play with someone instead.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Honestly nothing about that, we need the stage, we love it, all technical issues or problems are part of the game.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Inside the project LT all the influences that make our sound, came from different genres like 90's nu-metal, progressive, death, electronics...We always mixed the heavy stuff with melodic mood as to create a new atmosphere song by song ever.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Actually, nothing like that happened yet, but we hope to have something to tell you soon.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Simply amazing, they support our band with a lot of messages full of passion and love and we take care of them to go on every day.

14. What do you think of our site?

BTC is more than a nice site, you guys are a great opportunity for bands like us to be noticed and discovered. Lots of bands born every day, so it's harder to emerge from the masses and you can help all of us with your great work and support, thanks a lot!

15. Something add?

Thank you so much for the space, and don't miss to check our latest video release for the track "Transition", watch it at youtube, and stream the song or add to your playlist on Spotify, or if you would love to help us you can download it for a very low price on all digital stores, see you soon, horns up. Julius.
