Interviews: The FullBug

In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band The FullBug from Israel. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The original phrase is taken from a “Van halen song”, our drummer is a huge fan and when we looked for the meaning of this phrase, which means basically “give it all you got”, we felt it would describe us best.

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

We all grew up listening to Rock music and was fascinated by playing guitars, drums and their powerful dynamic combination.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We knew each other from different bands we were involved in back in the day.

4. Each band member favorite band? 

Lavy: Mastodon

Asaf: Ozzy Osbourne

Nadav: Soundgarden

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Music has influenced our lives in a lot of ways, With music you can express so much of who you are as a person. these days everyone gets to express themselves, but in very shallow ways (hmm hmm ...Instagram) We wanted to make our own music with our own vision and our own message.

7. Where would you like to perform?

Anywhere and everywhere, especially Japan.

8. Whom would you like to perform with? 

Stone Temple Pilots, Biffy Clyro, Crobot... the list goes on none of them answered our calls for some reason.

Rammstein

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Lavy: At Age 15, when I had my first band and we scheduled our first show, I was petrified, couldn’t even look at the audience while playing, and I sucked so bad, that I told my bandmates that I quit right after the show. lucky for me, they didn’t let me, and after a while, the “stage fright” was converted to the excitement. there’s no way to conquer fear expect to dive head-on into it. if you’re insecure about your playing or your songs, then go and work on it until you are.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We all love the classics like Aerosmith, GNR, AC/DC their influence is like our backbone of what we do. when we started the band, we were looking for a more modern angle and found bands like Maylene and the sons of disaster, crobot and He is a legend to be very influential.

14. What do you think of our site? 

It’s great, found a couple of interesting bands on there. keep up the good work
