Behind The Artworks: KB & THE IDYLLWILDE - I Just Wanna Love You, I Just Wanna Let You (2020)

The artwork for I JUST WANNA LOVE YOU, I JUST WANNA LET YOU echoes the album's idea of possession, at least, the idea of being run by something we can't control, ego, obsession, "love", trauma, power, thirst...The character is not totally in control, but feels ready for anything. It feels celebratory, dark, unnatural and animal all at the same time. The artwork really lends itself to how love is portrayed on the album: it is demonstrative, ugly, outrageously dangerous, maladjusted...but its having a good time.
