Interviews: DEMISE OF THE CROWN

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metal band Diamonds On Neptune from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I was browsing the net sometime in 2008 when I came across the title “demise of the crown”. It sounded right and caught my attention. So not planned, it just happened that way.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Metal/rock is what we all grew up listening to and has always been a big part of our lives so its only natural that we gravitated towards it and it's probably the type of music that's the most fun to play live if you really think about it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Not even close

4. Each band member favourite band?

Van Halen for most of us but it's a very hard question to answer.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The artists that we like now and grew up listening too, which involves a lot of music that isn’t necessarily metal.

6. Where was your last gig?

Petit Campus in Montreal!

Eat a banana before going on stage and 2 shots of whiskey.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

How do I compare my style of guitar playing to every other style of guitar playing on the planet?

13. What do you think of your fans?

Can't do it without them!

Badass
