Interviews: Prey For Sunday

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock/Metal band, Prey For Sunday from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was something that came to me, Tony, our Producer, and we all liked it immediately...

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We play this genre because it is what we love.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we met in the process of forming. Although, our paths have crossed in many coincidental ways leading up to our actual meeting.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

My (Neal) is currently Shinedown, Although, I like 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Halestorm, etc.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Being the guitarist, my ideas begin with musical ideas that come to me when I’m playing guitar. My lyrical ideas, much like our singer Tony’s come from the heart. We write about things that touch us personally. Our new single “Don’t Let It End” came about from my personal loss, and grieving.

6. Where was your last gig?

We have not performed yet. My personnel last gig was at a club called “The Brixton” with my prior band.

7. Where would you like to act?

I’d love to perform in any show where the crowd is high energy, and really enjoying themselves.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Any of the bands I mentioned before would be amazing. I enjoy so many bands in addition to what I stated. I would just be honored to open for any great band. We can't wait for this all to be over so we can begin to perform.

9. Whom not?

The easy answer is, music from completely different styles. Though I personally enjoy many types of music, I would want a crowd to look forward to hear our style of music.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I have had a few moments of that for sure. My tip was to always remember once I actually got on stage the adrenaline Would kick in, and I’d be ok.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Shinedown, 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Once a fan asked me alot of questions. I jokingly said “ Are you writing a book”? “ he said yes”

13. What do you think of your fans?

I think they have been incredibly supportive. I’m very grateful to all of them.

14. What do you think of our site?

It is really well laid out. It covers all the sub genres of rock. I like the straightforward approach, it makes it easy to find everything.

15. Something you'd like to add?

Thank you so much for the opportunity to tell everyone a little bit about myself, and our band. We hope that everyone enjoys our new single. We also hope it makes getting though things currently a little easier.
