Interviews: DISPOSITIONS

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Deathcore band, DISPOSITIONS from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name came from the Tool song, Disposition.

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

We take influences from all genres, but the heavier end of things seemed to have the most energy.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Ethan and Taylor have known each other for over 20 years. They and Cody have known each other for nearly 10, but Jameson and Jeff have been the newest members with only a couple years.

4. Each band member's favourite band? 

Ethan - Linkin Park

Jameson - Architects 

Taylor - The Plot in You 

Cody - Traitors 

Jeff - ICP

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We’ve written about our children, anti-religious songs, and songs about shitty people. So, I’d say just about anything.

6. Where was your last gig?

The Rail Club in Fort Worth, TX.

7. Where would you like to perform?

Bomb Factory or any House of Blues.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We’d love a feature with Sam from Architects or maybe even something with Mike Shinoda. That’s a hard question.

10. Any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

We all usually don’t get nervous anymore. Only time is when our equipment is being funky. To a newbie, I’d say take you a shot and don’t worry about what the crowd is thinking. Go up, own it, feel it, and throw down the best you can. Can’t get better if you don’t.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Steel Panther, Motley Crue, Linkin Park, Architects, etc.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A Popeyes chicken sandwich. We gave him one on stage.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They’re some degenerates but amazing.
