Interviews: Indrid Cold

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Post-Metal band, 
Indrid Cold from the Czech Republic. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band’s name comes from the movie The Mothman Prophecies, based on the 1975 book of the same name.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Our music is a mix of multiple genres, it is a natural development of our musical visions.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, all members of Indrid Cold were active in various other bands from the local metal and punk scene, we have been friends for many years.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Each member of the band has a slightly different musical taste, but together we like bands: Cult of Luna, Katatonia, Opeth, Leprous, Behemoth and more.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 


6. Where was your last gig?

In our hometown (Jindřichův Hradec), it's been a very long time,before the global pandemic.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere, we're missing it.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

With Cult Of Luna, that'd be amazing 

9. Whom not?

No racists, nazi or homophobic people. We seriously have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

A slight stage fright is always with everyone,it's adrenaline,It has to be this way. Definitely Opeth, Kataonia, Cult of Luna, Naglfar ...

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We can’t really think of anything too weird.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Everyone who supports us is part of our musical family and thanks for that.

14. What do you think of our site?

Your site is amazing! Hugely influential in discovering new artists and bands.
