Behind The Artworks: Lychlake - The Tragedy Of Doctor Faustus (2021)

The idea here was to depict Faustus signing the contract. We contacted Danny Ingrassia and really only gave him that small direction. We really liked his initial sketches and added a few small details such as the bookcase, the blood covered dagger and the candle flames being pulled towards Mephostophilis. Danny did a great job capturing the mood and the piece just exudes atmosphere.
