This is a new interview with the Pop Punk/Alternative Rock band Atlas For Home from France. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

Valentin: At the beginning the band was named Captive. When we search on the internet and saw that a lot of different was named Captive or something very similar. Marion then came with this idea of Atlas for Home, saying that our home can be whatever we want on earth and beyond

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Valentin: Pop-punk has always been our favorite genre. We grew up with bands like blink-182, Green Day and Sum-41. We are a pop-punk band indeed but we try our best to do songs we like, no matter the genre. 3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? Marion and I met at a show in Paris. We start talking to each other because one of us wear some macbeth shoes. Our friendship and the band started from this encounter

4. Each band member favourite band?

Valentin: blink-182 all the way. I still listen to blink at least once in a week

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Valentin: My friends and family. I like to listen to their stories, and if something hits me, I’ll try to write some lyrics. Regarding Melodies, I send some random ideas to Marion and if she likes it, we work on it.

6. Where was your last gig?

Valentin: chien noir, a French pop artist.

Valentin: Nobody to be honest ahah. Very curious to collaborate with anybody

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Valentin: Right now : Turnstile, Super American, Anxious and Day Wave.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Valentin: we are very proud of them and of them

14. What do you think of our site?
