Interviews: REdEFIND

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

We kicked around the idea of redefining the Nu-metal genre way back when. Then we spelled it crazy sorta like some of our favorite bands did.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It’s the music we grew up loving and enjoying.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Big Drew and I have played music since we were 18/19. We knew Lil Dru and Jordan from other bands in the local scene.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

My favorite band is for sure Korn. Big Drew is either Static X or the Cranberries. Lil Dru Lamb of god or Upon a burning body. Jordan Biggie Smalls Korn and everything in between.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Whatever is going on during our lives.

6. Where was your last gig?

A local gig at one of our favorite spots in SC called Tribbles

7. Where would you like to act?

Any and everywhere

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Jonathan Davis from Korn or AJ from Fire from the gods

9. Whom not?

I’m pretty sure we’d work with anyone that is a cool and decent person.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Oh, no doubt!! I still get it from time to time. The best way to beat is to breathe and have fun.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I personally am Korn, Deftones, Heartsick, Skindred

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing too crazy. Maybe nudes 😂

13. What do you think of your fans?

We look at them more like family. We love them and can’t thank them enough

14. What do you think of our site?

We dig the hell outta your site! Keep it up!!
