Interviews: HETEROGENEOUS ANDEAD

This is a new interview with the Thrash Metal/Symphonic Death Metal/Electronic band HETEROGENEOUS ANDEAD from Japan. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

At first, it was Andead, but I added Heterogeneous because there was another band with the same name. Andead is a word based on Undead.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I wanted to make a new genre of music that combines all my favorite genres such as thrash metal, death metal, power metal, progressive metal, and electronica.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

The band started with Yusuke alone and then met each member.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Yusuke: Slayer, Dream Theater, X Japan

Haruka: Clitorape, Ingested, Rings of Saturn

Tomoyuki: Darkthrone, DimmuBorgir, Dissection

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I like listening to new and old music, metal and pop music. Then I can come up with an idea. And when I listen to the phrase of the song I wrote, I can get inspiration for how to develop it further.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was in Tokyo.

7. Where would you like to act?

We have only played gigs in Japan, so we want to play abroad.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Anyone who thinks the same way.

9. Who not?

Nothing special.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Sometimes we get nervous before the gig. To overcome it, I think we need to rehearse many times and be confident.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Slayer.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We haven’t had such a thing ever before, so we hope to have only the thing for good.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Very appreciate them!

14. What do you think of our site?

Great! It is very interesting to read band interviews.

15. Something to add?

Please listen to our album many times!
