Interviews About Albums: Unholy Harakiri - Ketsuro (2022)

In this new interview, we sat down with the Brazilian Deathcore band Unholy Harakiri to ask some questions about their new album "Ketsuro"

1. What can you say about this new CD?

All the songs were written during a very difficult time in world history and especially for Brasil, where we live. From 2020 onwards we built this project by depositing everything we were facing in our lives and in the midst of this calamity, these 10 songs emerged. Each one with their own personality. We're excited to bring life to this first album that was trodden on that bloody path.

2. What is the meaning of the CD name?

Bloodpath, Ketsuro means Bloodpath.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD?

Maikon Campioni and Yukio Hara in all songs, but we have a special participation in other tracks, such as SEMDÓ in Espiral, Rodrigo Costa in Ronin do Cangaço, and Milena Takatsu in the last song of the CD entitled Aka.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Without a doubt that would be Espiral, from the moment we created this song, we already knew it would be a master-blowing mind-killer-piece.

5. Is there a special message in this CD? If there is what it is?

The general message is that no matter how arduous the road is, we have to hold on. But each track has its meaning and interpretation, it's up to the listener whether or not to feel it.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

Kintsugi, it's our most "beautiful" song let's say haha. This song talks about the beauty of the imperfect and accepting yourself as you are.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

The inspirations are from mangas and animes that we like to feelings and personal opinions that we like to share with people.

8. Something to add?

We want to thank everyone who has listened and left their opinions! We are coming with more news very soon, follow us around! Have fun!
