Interviews: Behind Our Reflections

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band, Behind Our Reflection from Reunion. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

Fredo: The idea of the group came out like this! I wanted a name that made Metalcore trendy and by mixing a few notions the name came out like that.  

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Fredo: This style is the most meaningful to me It allows us to express so much in one song.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Fredo: With the current training, we did not know each other at all before Today we are family. 

4. Each band member's favorite band?

So we're betraying the Martyrs Lamb Of God Landmarks and TheHu

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Fredo: In general, we tell stories, so we base ourselves on our experience, on the preferences of each It's quite vast because we don't have the same inspirations. 

6. Where was your last gig?

Fredo: Our last concert is in 2021! It was at La Cerise on Reunion Island After that we focused on the album. 

7. Where would you like to perform?

Fredo: We would so much like to perform in Mauritius, as well as in India or Australia. 

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

Fredo: We would dream of playing with Betraying the Martyrs, but that I think is more my dream haha. 

9. Whom not?

Fredo: We want to play with everyone! We are in sharing. 

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Fredo: Before all the concerts we have a little stress At the very beginning it was nervous but today it was more exciting The advice I could give to amateurs is to trust your group because when you're stressed, you have to turn to them and together everything will be fine...

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Fredo: The bands that inspired us are Betraying The Martyrs, Born Of Osiris, and Monuments. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Fredo: Today it's never happened to us that a fan asks us something strange, but if one day it happens, we'll send you an email haha. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

Fredo: Our fans are extraordinary, thanks to them we can continue to move forward and always make music.
