Behind The Artworks: Myth Of Origin - Sane Asylum (2023)

The album cover to Sane Asylum represents the duality of life: the beauty and perfect structure on one side, but the darkness and chaos on the other side. Every person has a dark side, hidden under their “mask” of sanity. This dark side could be anything from depression, dealing with traumatic experiences to psychopathic behavior. All of these themes are present in the songs on the album, both lyrically and musically.

We wanted to do something special with the cover, so we contacted Designificance. Although he’s most known for his work in the hard dance scene (doing artwork for some major labels and festivals), Peter is a metalhead by heart. With our input in mind, he really made something that stands out from most metal album covers and we are really proud of the result.
