Interviews: SEPULCHRA

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal project, SEPULCHRA from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the project on his FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name came to me naturally.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Simply due to the fact that there is ample room for experimentation!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I am actually the only member of the band - I hired Kevin Talley (formerly of Suffocation, Napalm Death, Six Feet Under, etc) for drums.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I would have to say Kreator! At least through the Coma of Souls album.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I’m a guitarist first and foremost, so the need to create is innately hardwired. Human nature is what inspires me to write in terms of content.

6. Where was your last gig?

We don’t play live, but my last gig was in Chicago, IL.

7. Where would you like to act?

If I performed live, more than likely Europe and South America!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Tankard.

9. Whom not?

Paramore, maybe?

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I’ve never suffered from stage fright, but I think the best advice is to rehearse in front of a crowd of friends who will provide honest feedback.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Musically? Kreator, Bathory, Tankard, Destruction, Forbidden, etc. As a guitarist? Dokken, Ratt, Racer X, etc.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I haven’t received any weird requests yet!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They’ve been wonderfully supportive - the best fans!

14. What do you think of our site?

Awesome website! Thank you for keeping Metal alive!

15. Something to add?

Keep an eye on new Sepulchra and upcoming releases on the Virgin Idol Records Bandcamp page and Facebook page.
