Breakdowns At Tiffany´s - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Metal/Hardcore  band Breakdowns At Tiffany´s from Germany. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

It actually came out after a big metalcore festival, during a game between Pascal and Sebastian, in which they put the word "breakdown" in every sentence. Sebastian said: "Hey, why don't we go to my place and watch BREAKDOWNS AT TIFFANY'S?", that's when the name was born!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We are all very much into metal and hardcore music. When we started the band, acts like Killswitch Engage, Trivium or As I Lay Dying began to become quite popular. Some of these bands influenced us a lot, back in the day.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes and no! Pascal, Dajo Sebastian and Alexej spent a lot of time together throughout their childhood.  We have all played in bands before and got in contact with Kassim and Benjamin by the local music scene.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Sebastian: Veil Of Maya
Kassim: Northlane
Dajo: While She Sleeps
Benjamin: "I don't have a favourite band, there is only good music and bad music."
Alexej: August Burns Red
Pascal: "it depends on my mood!"

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

There is a lot of things: other music, movies, TV-series,... Anything that moves us.

6. Where was your last gig?  

It was in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere in the world! It actually doesn't matter, but sure: new places are always great!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

It would be an honor to feature any big act!

9. Whom not?  

We think it's better to leave this unspoken!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Sure, we still suffer from this from time to time, but as soon as we are on stage, we are focused! That's the best medicine!

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

It's hard to name them. Probably many bands from foreign genres and some current acts like Emmure, A Day To Remember or Periphery.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

One fan offered us heaps of money to listen to our album CONSTANTS before it was released. We declined!

13. What do you think of your fans?  

A band is nothing without support of their fans! We are really thankful for every single shirt they bought, every concert they visited, every time they listened to our songs.... THANK YOU!!!

14. What do you think of our site?  

We haven't actually heard about it before, but the first impression is great! Don't stop supporting great music!
