Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Below Red Skies  from Sweden, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE.  We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent band.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We came up with the band name at a local McDonalds using a band name generator. It sounds so silly in retrospect but we just loved the name right from the start and it feels so natural to us. It's part of our identity.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

The thing we love about metalcore is that it can be super heavy but also very melodic at the same time. A song can have a really catchy chorus and then a breakdown that makes you want to break something comes along. It’s all very fun to play.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Everyone knew each other except for our singer, Kalle. A mutual friend told him about the band and that we were looking for a singer. We’re all great friends, music really brings people together.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Henrik: Periphery

Isac: Architects

Kalle: Rammstein

Hampus: Parkway Drive

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Partly, the music in itself, as cliché as that might sound. When you're just jamming with your band or sitting at home, playing your instrument and you suddenly discover that one melody or that one rhythm that just makes you go "Whoa.". Not just that, but when we go to see other bands play shows live and we feel how much time and effort they've put into writing their songs and to get up on stage and play them for us. All the emotions you can feel through the music when you see a band is quite amazing. That also inspires us to write our own songs, because we want people to feel like we do at those times.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in our hometown Eskilstuna. We headlined a festival for local bands and that was sort of a milestone for us.

7. Where would you like to act?

Tough question! We would like to tour a lot of places. It would be great to see new countries and cultures that we haven’t experienced before. We really want to see how far our music can take us.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Parkway Drive and Bring Me The Horizon would probably be our first picks!

9. Whom not?

Black Veil Brides or something like that, haha!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We’ve never suffered from stage fright really. We’ve been nervous sometimes but I guess we embrace it since it’s what makes you perform at your best. Our tip would be to force yourself to play live as often as possible. It won’t feel that scary after a while.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Bring Me The Horizon and Parkway Drive. They are both super heavy bands who do their own thing without compromising. That’s always been important to us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We haven’t had a lot of weird requests yet. But I guess it feels weird when someone wants an autograph. Luckily, that only happened once, haha!

13. What do you think of your fans?

We’re really grateful towards anyone who enjoys our music. We’re not that big here in Sweden yet or in any other country for that matter, so we don’t know too much about our fans since they’re spread out all over the world. But wherever they may be, they are badass!

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s really great! It’s a great way of discovering new bands and nice to see smaller bands like ourselves getting some attention. Big ups!

15. Something to add?

Listen to our new EP ”The Constant” and stay true!
