Thousand Miles Away - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metal/Deathcore band Thousand Miles Away from Italy, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We wanted a name that could express our will to go as far as possible in our carrers. “Thousand Miles Away” represents also our volition to play in foreign countries.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?  

We just love this kind of music and when we started to compose our EP we realised that metalcore was the correct way to express in the best way our feelings.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

No. The project began with Giulio, Lorenzo and Daniel. We met Giuseppe and Alberto few months later.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Giulio – Attila

Lorenzo – Memphis May Fire

Daniel – Memphis May Fire

Alberto – Asking Alexandria

Giuseppe – The Amity Affliction

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Everything starts with a feeling. It can be rage, love, pain or whatever else. Then we work together to write riffs, rhythms that could interpret that emotion.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We did not have the opportunity to play in a gig yet. This EP is our first work and we hope it will give us the chance to play with important bands!

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would love to play in U.S., Germany, U.K. But in the end the important thing is not where you play, but playing in front of a good crowd!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We would like to feature with bands like Memphis May Fire, The Amity Affliction and Avenged Sevenfold.

9. Whom not?  

We think that we would deny a featuring just with bands that play genres that have nothing to do with the metal/rock scene. For example we will never have a collaboration with a band that plays polka.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We think that the emotion that you feel just before starting a concert is something beautiful; we don’t think that “fright” is the right word, it is more like excitation.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

We think Attila and Memphis May Fire with a little influence from Avenged Sevenfold.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

We remember about a fan that wanted to have our autographs tattooed.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They are wonderful! They give us more reasons to work better and with more continuity. We love the attention they give us we will work to never disappoint them!

14. What do you think of our site?  

We think it is great because it helps new artists to become known in the tough world of music.
