Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band When Cities Sleep from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our band name basically came too existence buy us just sitting down trying to figure something out we all could agree on. We wanted our band name to also be referred to as a statement.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

.We like playing this genre because it's fun, it's energetic, and really easy to get the crowd involved. Having an intense crowd makes for a great show. Ever since I went to a couple of shows with EHM bands I saw how much the crowd reacts to that type of genre, so I thought why not us?

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Well, for the most part I knew of everyone before hand, either because they were involved with the scene or because justin(guitar) and Jonny(drums) are part of my family. We all have similar friends and likes, so eventually we all met up one day and kind of started to jam together. Things molded together from there. With a few member changes our core line up came about over a year ago and we had all known each other prior due to other musical projects around the local area.

4. Each band member favorite band?

Bands we all like? Here's a list of a number one from each of us:

Justin- G-Eazy

Jonny- Childish Gambino

Mike- Fit For A King

Dario- The Color Morale

Rob- the 1975

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our inspirations come from a variety of musicians, but we really just try to go with what we like honestly. But when we are at a writers block, sometimes we will listen to rappers killing the trap game( for programming beats) or like bigger underground or newly signed bands.. Such as Fit for for a king.

6. Where was your last gig?

The last gig we had played was at The Murray Hill Theater Jacksonville FL.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would really like to go preform in Australia. But until then, anywhere out west would be awesome! None of us have been out to places like California, or Washington state places like that seem to be awesome.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

A lot of bands that we would love to be featured with are Issues, I see stars, palisades, fit for a king, state champs. Those bands are doing a lot of big things right now and I think it'd be a good experience to get with those guys and expand our music to their fans.

9. Whom not?

When it comes to traveling, there isn't anyone we wouldn't travel with. It's good to get out anywhere. As long as we're playing music for people and they are enjoying it, we are enjoying ourselves.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Of course we have all suffered from stage fright! We still do! Stage fright is natural. If you don't have it you don't belong. If your too nervous take a deep breath, and just tell yourself you are gonna kill it. Reminding yourself that your supposed to be there, and that you worked for it is the best encouragement you can give yourself while in a stage fright moment!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We really enjoy what issues has been doing with their music and message right now. Inspirationally we believe they constantly kill it with keeping it original and sounding pin point live, as they do on their record. Those are things we strive to do, I feel like it also brings your band more respect.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

In this beginning stage when a fan asks for anything were all a bit weirded out . A fan asked for my windbreaker once when it was covered in my sweat from the show. He said he didn't care he just wanted MY windbreaker cause it was mine haha I thought that was kind of weird.

13. What do you think of your fans?

I think our fans are pretty damn patient because it's been a while since we've released anything and I don't know how they remained so hype with the little bit of info we were letting out about our releasings.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think the site is really awesome.

15. Something to add?

Be on the lookout for our new album "What lies lay between us" coming out November 18th. I garuntee that it will blow you away. We have worked really hard on it so I hope you can release to it just as much as we do.
