Nova: Rebirth - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Djent band Nova: Rebirth from USA, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name came from a song I wrote way back in the day actually. It was some of the best work I'd written at the time and it just seemed like a good starting point for this band.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Djent has always been a love of mine and its versatility in lyric writing has always peaked my interest so naturally that's the way we went with it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes we all live together haha we've been best friends for a while.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

For Jesse and Garett it'd be avenged sevenfold, for me Id say it would be either erra or stray from the path.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

A lot of my inspiration comes from reading psychology and sociology stuff. I love the way the mind works for some reason haha.

6. Where was your last gig?

 For all of us it was the world famous Nile awhile back with carnifex, had a blast playing that show!

7. Where would you like to act?

I'd love to play the pamona theatre in Cali. Mitch was a big inspiration to me when learning vocals and I feel like it'd be a good tribute to all he's done in helping me find my way in music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

We all agree Aaron matts of betraying the martyrs would be our choice feature. Love that mans vocal style.

9. Whom not? 

Dahvie vanity (sorry fan girls).

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Jesse did his first show but ever since we have all really just went out there and had a blast.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Again for my dudes it would probably be avenged sevenfold and for me it'd be Mitch lucker and erra.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Uh, my hair once. That was weird. Other than that no one really asked us for much haha.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We absolutely love them to death and hope to meet them all and tell them how appreciative we are of them!

I think you guys are great! Promotions sites are a huge help with local bands and the work you all do is phenomenal! Thanks!
