Beyond The Dark Clouds - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Deathcore band Beyond The Dark Clouds from France, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
I was going a bad time in my life and the band was the only moment when I was laughing a bit it was the only light beyond the dark clouds, that's why we are call Beyond The Dark Clouds, cause we want to say that pain end.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
Because Metalcore is what we listen to in everyday life. My guitar player Anthony is my best friend an he is the one who introcuded me into that music, I remember watching the music video for 10 miles wides on YouTube when I was 14 and say to myself "fuck yeah that's what I want to do" of course now we play things a little bit more brutal!
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Like I said Anthony is my best friend since I am 11 the same for Jordan the drum player, our first bass player Valentin was also one of our friend, and I known Pierrick after Valentin left to complete the band. And Dylan who is replacing Anthony for now is one of my friend too that I met a little bit after.
4. Each band member favourite band?
For me (Thibaut singer) I would say Beartooth but I am more inspired by the death core era of BMTH. For Anthony it's definitely Architect and BMTH. For Pierrick it's Blessthefall and Of mice and Men. To Dylan it's Suicide Silence and Bring Me The Horizon (Suicide Season era). For Jordan...
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I am the one who wrote the song (Thibaut) at first it was the urge to talk about what was affecting me but nowadays it's more about trying to talk about all those people who have rejected me because I was weirdo and are now crawling back to me, about the people who have never believed in me. It's all about those little things who just get you angry and that you want to scream on stage.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was in France (where we are from) in a little town called Louviers.
7. Where would you like to act?
It would be a blast for all of us I think to play the Vans Warped Tour, just to make the teens in us getting crazy
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
I think Bring Me The Horizon would be a good choice.
9. Whom not?
Black Veil Brides.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
For our second show we were supposed to open a gig for huge French band and we were all really scared, in the end we didn't did that bad the bands congrated us and the public enjoyed even if it was really shitty compared of what we are capable to do. The tip that I can give is too remember to have pleasure and complicity on stage with your buds, if you're enjoying your show you enjoy your night, if the public don't enjoy or don't want to move after they are ruining theirs night not yours.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
According to me (Thibaut singer) the French band called rise of the northstar that have started with nothing and now they have signed on nuclear blast record. But for all of us I think we are really inspired by career of being me the horizon.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
(Thibaut) one day a fan asked me if he could kiss my hand it was pretty weird he bend an kiss my fist I was feeling like a old king!
13. What do you think of your fans?
We have really different kind of fans. Some follow us because of the music of course but other also follow because of our shows a lot of them say that they are impressed by our live set and our performance, and that really mean a lot to us cause we think our music first as a music done for shows.
14. What do you think of our site?
Breathing the Core is really a good website giving opportunities to small bands to get known that why I like it.
15. Something to add?
Well just keep on being hardcore the team do an amazing job ! Thank all of you for all
