Primal Age - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metal/Hardcore band Primal Age from France, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band has succeeded an other one called All Spyz. Our music has  changed her orientation from old school hardcore to a mix of metal and hardcore.  The purpose of our songs has made his evolution too. We were more involved in defending animals, but not only. So the choice was made to have a band's name which could make thinking to Earth at it's origin, when the air was more pure...

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

As everbody we were inspired by bands we heard, like Earth Crisis for example. This band has made a difference for us.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Not really, some of us knew one or two members, we all played in other bands before and were more or less close friend.

4. Each band member favourite band?

I can't give just one name by member, but few names like Slayer, Metallica, Madball, Hatebreed, Napalm Death. Here are some bands we all love.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I guess all we can listen as heavy music, and we make our own one.

6. Where was your last gig?  

The last was like at home at Notre Dame de Gravenchon, but it was special cause 2 days before we were in Sao Paulo, the end of our Brasilian Tour.

7. Where would you like to act?

We hanve never played in the North of Europe for example, it could be great to go there.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

I always give the same name, it's Sick Of It All, the last legendary hardcore band we never play with.

9. Whom not?

Gun's and Roses ))

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?   Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really, we have this chance not being afraid going on stage. My only fear when I play there is to have troubles of material.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

A mix between Slayer and Earth Crisis.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Maybe to fuck with me )) Or I remember a show in Mexico when one of the guys playing before us came with his nice guitar and asked all the band to sign it. His guitar was so beautiful that we really hesitated to do that (and we're not Metallica).

13. What do you think of your fans?  

It's a big chance to see new kids coming to our shows. We feel happy to see old guys like us, a new ones. That way we don't feel so old))

14. What do you think of our site?  

What a huge job you do to promote bands, congratulations. We can find a so big database of bands, to hear, to read, to stay informed... it's very important, thanks for your help guys.
