Interviews: Death Comes Home

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal/Hardcore band Death Comes Home, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name was taken from the title of a chapter from a Clive Barker book called "Weaveworld".

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We've always been fans of heavy music. It's always a thrill to play this kind of music live, we love the energy.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Carlos is a recording engineer/producer, and he knew all of us from different bands he recorded and put us all together for this band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Carlos(Guitar): Thrice

Emanuel(Vocals): Circa Survive

Raphiel(Drums): Bermuda

Roberto(Bass): Thrice

Eloy(Guitar): Erra

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Music is just a huge part of our lives. We can't stop doing it. In our free time, we are always practicing an  instrument or writing a riff or taking notes for lyric ideas. Emanuel writes from personal experiences or things he's seen first hand blended into horror stories that we  make up in our heads to make it go along with the whole concept of the band.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in our hometown. We were opening for a very cool hardcore band called Denouncer from Panama City Beach, Florida.

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd love to play at Download Festival in the UK. It's one of our favorite festivals in the world.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Sam Carter, Oliver Sykes or Marcus Bridge would be awesome to feature with.

9. Whom not?

Probably Chad Kroeger.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I guess we all do sometimes. But getting nervous for something you love means there's still passion for it in  you. So there's no better feeling than to embrace it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Thrice has been a very big inspiration and major influence on Carlos' songwriting. A band that is not afraid to change through every single album they put out, is definitely a band to look up to.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Don't think there's been something weird enough yet!

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are great. We're always receiving kind words and endless support from them.

14. What do you think of our site?

Your site is an excellent resource for discovering new bands. It's pretty neat!

15. Something to add?
