Interviews: Face Your Enemy

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Hardcore band Face Your Enemy, from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Actually we had few names in mind, but FYE won in the end, it goes straight to the point and reflects the harsh reality we're living in everyday.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We play hardcore 'cause it's genuine, sincere and it hasn't filters, trends not included.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, some of us knew each other before starting the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

It's a tough question, we listen to so many different bands and styles that we couldn't find just one each.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

That's my favourite question, eheh!!! Probably I could write a book about it, but I'd say the reality we come from, that's the main thing, then, of course, hardcore and rap of the 90's, 80's action movies' attitude, gore movies and pizza.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was in Bologne, it was great!

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd like to go to South America, Asia, and of course any of the New York districts.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Many many people, but Freddy from Madball would be over the top for us. Till it's hardcore or rap, or both, a good featuring is always welcomed.

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

When you start, it's normal to get scared, but it's something that can change in time. I can only say that If you really believe it, you'll overcome that scary feeling.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Madball, NWA, Slayer.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

An autograph or a picture, you asked the wrong guys, hahahahaha!!!

12. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are the reason why we keep doin' this, otherwise it wouldn't make much sense, they are our strength, our life line, and we wanna thank them so much for supporting us throughout all these years, without you, this could have never been possible.

14. What do you think of our site?

It's cool man, it keeps the shit alive, ya know?

15. Something to add?

Thank you so much for the interview, we really appreciate it, just keep rollin'!!! What else to say, there's an EP comin' out soon, go and check all the news on facebook, instagram and twitter. RESPECT!!! "
