Interviews: Lydia Can't Breathe

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview  the  Metal/Rock band Lydia Can't Breathe, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Kyle and the first guitarist were watching the movie Beetle Juice and tripping on LCD. The goal was to think of the band name that night. The main character in the movie is Lydia, And at one point we were laughing and said I cant breathe, and then Lydia Cant Breathe came next. We kinda stumbled onto it and stuck with it.   

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We actually play all kinds of styles in our music, but started off with a lot of heavy metal and hard rock styles first just from loving that music as kids. Then evolved into the multi genre band we are today.   

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

No, Kyle started the band with high school friends and then found more serious members as the band grew.   

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Kyle: System Of A Down

Ryan: Avenged Sevenfold

Josh: Red Hot Chili Peppers

Shad: BTBAM- Shad 

AJ: Shattering Silence

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Hard times in life, as well as life experiences. Such as falling in love, smoking weed, getting out of bad situations, fighting back for what you believe, some political rants and joke songs are some stuff we write songs about. Thats who we are, so it comes natural to write about those things.   

6. Where was your last gig? 

San Marcos, TX last Saturday!   

7. Where would you like to act?  

Hollywood.   

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Bruno Mars would be cool.   

9. Whom not?   

Any mumble rapper.   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Kyle use to throw up before gigs for the first year. My advice is to just keep doing it till you feel more comfortable on stage.   

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Slipknot and BTBAM because of there drive and success.   

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

To smoke crack with them.

We love all our fans and appreciate their support!
