Interviews: LED BY VAJRA

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Progressive Metalcore  band LED BY VAJRA from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?   

The band name cames from the studies of our bandmembers leading to identify ourself and our genre in this kind of Esoteric Background ; Inspired by the Buddhist Vajrayana in which every kind of "Krodha" (anger and negativity) can be commuted to positive energy.    

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

This genre reflects exactly what we consider the most significative explanation of doing good music, as a direct result of our influnces and ways of growing up with different kinds of music.  

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Some of us collaborated in other metal projects and due to the will to create our music we decided to join forces with this line up. Last three members come from Naples, and we met them at their live shows, performing in other projects  

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Our favourite bands includes Trivium, Born of Osiris, Nightwish, Iron Maiden, Motionless in White, Enter Shikary, Veil of Maya, in conclusion a lot of music genres that shaped us for the making of this album and for our way to compose music  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Our music is inspired by the will to share our ideas and our thought about society and social issues that in particular inspired this last album.  

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig has been in Rome, our first one in that city  

7. Where would you like to act?  

No matter in particular where to act, but we try to catch every possibility to share the stage with other bands or to take part to festivals and similar events in order to know more about the music in other city and how musicians live there  

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Could be great to feature with artists and bands that share with us, at first their passion and their energy for music events, and also who has close music genres with us.  

9. Whom not?  

We don't have right now some denials for any artists. Every kind of match can be usefull for each part, always.  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We played for years and we didn't have some significative stage fright even if we were relatively young, so we couldn't suggest how to beat it. Anyway for beginners could be great to think that "you" , as a singer or band member, are doing something that express your feelings, your passion, and there is no way to be happier than this.  

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

From our personal references the bands that inspired us the most are Trivium and Veil of Maya.  

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

The weirdest thing so far and also the funniest is a pic asked by our grandma's fan, asking a kiss from our singer Athena.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They're so openminded fans, that like us likes a lot of music genres and so are capable to understand and recognize what we try to express with our works  

14. What do you think of our site? 

Breathing the core site is well done and could be the best new bands platform regardings information, news, music and promotions. Giving new air and new solutions for an underground scenery and also the already established bands
