Interviews: Toothless

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the Hardcore/Metalcore/Mathcore band Toothless from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Eric: We wanted something simple and it just kind of happened.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?

James: It’s a good outlet for sublimating negative emotions. It’s also just fun.

Travis: I guess it’s a good way to reach people with ideas worth screaming about.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Travis: Yeah, we all knew each other one way or another from attending the same college for Music Recording Technology, aside from Mark who just joined the band. Our friend Brian introduced us to Mark.
4. Each band member favourite band?

Travis: System of a Down
James: Converge or The Dillinger Escape Plan
Mark: Periphery
Brian: Misery Signals
Eric: Owl City
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Travis – For me it’s mostly trying to capture and express an emotion. Either that or a lyrical idea starts manifesting and evolves… then the idea behind the lyrics determines the feel of the song.
6. Where was your last gig?

Travis: Last gig was at a new local spot called Oasis in Kingston, PA.
7. Where would you like to act?

Europe and Japan. Also, literally anybody’s house.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Every Time I Die. Norma Jean. Maximum the Hormone.
9. Whom not?

Bon Jovi. JK LOL that’d be sick :^)
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Brian: Yeah. The way to get over it is to keep doing it.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?

As a band, probably Norma Jean, The Chariot, Dillinger.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
James: Someone asked me to sign a shirt and write "Skate fast, eat ass" on it
13. What do you think of your fans?

They’re the best. We wouldn’t be here without their support.

14. What do you think of our site?

We really dig your site and how you bring exposure to up and coming bands!
