Interviews: Englomanatic Glitch

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Stoner Rock band Englomanatic Glitch from UK. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Vik: We didn’t have lyrics, but we had to lay down some demo
vocals. Drewzi was reading things written on the walls around us and he
tried to pronounce “electromagnetic switch” but his tongue got stuck and he
said “englomanatic glitch” instead and yeah.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Vik: Stoner and drum and bass and quite opposite genres in terms of tempo
and way of making, but in the same time they describe really well the way we
live. And trying to blend them only seemed natural.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Vik: Yes, of course.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Emo: Meshuggah
Drew: The Bright Light Social Hour

Emo: Underworld

Drew: KOKO.

9. Who not?

Vik: Any place that doesn’t have a bar or drum mics

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Emo: Practice.

Vik: Get drunk, get embarrassed and then realize it’s not that big of a deal.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Emo: Meshuggah.

Vik: Randon drum and bass sets on Youtube.

Drew: The Bright Light Social Hour

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
