Interviews: BLOOD OF SERPENTS

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Death Metal/Black Metal band BLOOD OF SERPENTS from Sweden. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

It was clear we wanted Serpents in the band name early,then we tossed around ideas on what to add, and it ended up with Blood of serpents.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Because it´s the purest form of metal and it what´s gives us the most chance to express ourselfs through music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes,a couple of us knew each other,and the others we knew of.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Too many to mention.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

It can be so many different things, other bands,movies, things you lived through.

6. Where was your last gig? 

In Linköping,sweden opening for Uada.

7. Where would you like to act? 

Anywhere that feels like a good place for us to visit and where fans want us to come.

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Anyone that fits our genre.

9. Whom not? 

No comment.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Not that i know of,but if the nerves are not there you probably won´t be on your toes.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

I can´t pin point any specific band´s that inspired us for how we sound in Blood of Serpents,but i guess listening to metal for 25-30+ years have made it´s mark, either beeing from classic metal or fro  the time Black metal showed it´s gruesome face.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Nothing too weird..a fan wanted a record signed, not with autographs but with insults to himself.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are great,they get good music.
