Interviews: Sharone

In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock artist Sharone from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Since I started playing shows completely on my own, I always just introduced myself as Sharone, and never really felt like I needed anything more than that.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I was very heavily influenced by Halestorm, Evanescence, Black Sabbath, and Paramore. I wanted to blend those different styles together to make sad and dark hard rock music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I knew my bassist prior to only because he had run sound for me at a show I played years before I started playing with a backing band. Everyone else, however, I met upon them joining the team.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

My favorite band is Evanescence.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I write music as a coping mechanism; that’s how I deal with life and all of its obstacles.

6. Where was your last gig?

Goosetown Tavern for Denver Hex Fest.

7. Where would you like to act?

I’d love to perform at Red Rocks one day.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Halestorm or Evanescence.

9. Whom not?

Anyone who isn’t passionate about what they’re doing.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I don’t necessarily suffer from stage fright, but I definitely get the jitters before certain shows. The best way I’ve learned to deal with it is to take deep breaths, do my warm ups, drink lots of water, and tell myself that I’m just going to go up there and have the time of my life.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

In This Moment, Halestorm, Evanescence, Paramore, Black Sabbath, and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I’ve had someone ask me to sign their forehead with a sharpie. That was a good day.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They’re the coolest and spookiest people I’ve ever known and they light up my world.

14. What do you think of our site?

I love it!

15. Something add?

My new album Reflection is coming out on December 7th! The first single “Cold” is out now with a music video on Youtube. A second single is coming out October 25th! Can’t wait to share the new music with you.  Thank you to Breathing The Core for having me!
