Interviews: Blind Faith

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Neoclassical Metal band, Blind Faith from Costa Rica. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I get the idea after the show with Mike Vescera (Ex Yngwie Malmsteen, Loudness) in San Jose Costa Rica on March 7, 2020, together with my friend Anton Darusso...Then the idea came to create Blind Faith.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I wanted to play this genre because I wanted to explore some stuff of Melodic, Neoclassical & Power metal too... In my personal case it is easy and very comfortable to interpret this type of music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I met Anton a long time ago in 1999-2000, He asked me to rehearse some of his first songs as a soloist at that time

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Anton's favorites ??? Blind Faith (I hope hahaha), Wings of Destiny and Magic opera ... Symphony X I also think, mine are Yngwie Malmsteen, Symphony-X, Dream Theater, Wings of Destiny, and of course Blind Faith

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Musically speaking, my main inspirations are from the aforementioned artists, of course, with a bit of originality on my part, I think that also giving your sound and personal touch to your music influences the result of the songs.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last concert and due to the pandemic (Not as Blind Faith yet) was on March 7 2020 in San Jose Costa Rica, sharing stage with the lead singer Mike Vescera (Ex Yngwie Malmsteen, Loudness, Animetal, etc)...That was our last live show...

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere people want to see us and want to listen and support our music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Very good question...Maybe bands like Gamma Ray, Helloween, Symphony X, Dream Theater...Bands of that quality and trajectory.

9. Whom not?

I do not think we would not like to share a scene with someone in particular ... With whom we could we would love to share stage.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Me when I was 5 (hahaha) ... But after that everything disappeared and now it is a pleasure to be able to enjoy the music and share it with the public.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

One of the ones that really inspired me the most was Van Halen without a doubt, Eddie was the guitarist who opened the new era of electric guitar, and I can say that he founded the guitar school from which no one has graduated yet. Another musician who has inspired me a lot is Yngwie Malmsteen ... His music and playing of the instrument are unique and his style has been clearly imitated by many over the years.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

The most strange??? I think I will give my guitar and my amp to a fan ... It's the weirdest and most comical thing that comes to mind.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Fans are the most important part of any artist in the world ... Without them, we are practically nothing.

14. What do you think of our site?

Just great ... You are very supportive of all artists, something extraordinary without a doubt...

15. Something to add?

Thank you very much for this great opportunity and for your support ... See you very soon ... Blessings !!!
