On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band, SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER from the USA about their upcoming tour with Fozzy, NoResolve, and GFM. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. For those who do not know you, can you tell us something about yourselves?

The band started in Dallas, but has been based out of Nashville for almost 20 years. We’ve had mainstream radio success as well as Christian radio success, but we play all kinds of venues for all kinds of crowds. We love hanging out with everybody after the shows and we stay at the merch table til the last person leaves. We’ve had people that came to a show as a fan, but we ended up being great friends by the end of the night.

2. You have just announced a tour with Fozzy, NoResolve, and GFM. How have you been part of such a tour?

We’re super stoked to be on this tour. It’s kinda crazy how it all worked out. Some friends of ours in GFM were on the tour earlier this year, and we thought it sounded like a really cool tour to be a part of. Our publicist happened to know Chris Jericho, and he had heard of our band and gave us the opportunity.

3. This tour is around the United States and Canada. What do you expect from it?

We’ve toured the US and Canada frequently, and it’s always a great time. We love seeing friends and fans from over the years, but we also love connecting with new people. Joseph, our lead singer, attempted suicide after a battle with drug addiction and depression when he was about 22, and that’s always a topic of conversation with people. Either they need advice on how to get past addiction of their own, or they’re looking for direction on how to help a friend struggling with an addiction. We don’t have all the answers, but we’re always down to listen and talk with people who are hurting.

4. Anything else to add?

Thanks for reaching out! We just released a new album called Death By Admiration. We’d love if you’d check it out and tell us what you think! We answer all our own social media, so just shoot us a message. See you on the Fozzy Saves The World Tour!
