Behind The Artworks: John DeMena - Dreams And Lies (2023)

The album artwork was done by the great Colombian artist Carlos Jacome from Creatus Artworks. It’s based on the album title and concept of ‘Dreams and Lies’, which is a recurring theme all throughout the album. There’s also a lot of eye symbolism on this album, so the idea of depicting this concept via the mysticism and captive nature of an eye and the roughness of a dagger seemed to be very fitting and a great combo for the narrative and sound of the album.
