Behind The Artworks: Malacoda - Our Special Place (Single) (2023)

The artwork for the single was actually assets from the original Restless Dreams record. I had taken a bunch of detailed photos of textures -things like rust, mold, and spider webs. We used these photos to create brushes in Photoshop to “paint over” the conceptual photos we took for the album art to give them a living, decaying feel. I took some of these textural photos and layered them over each other, changed the color to be similar to Restless Dreams teal color palette, and that was it.
