Where Shadows Dwell is currently an independent DIY metalcore band from West Yorkshire, England.

Where Shadows Dwell only consists of two main members, Casey Sturgeon and Daniel Coleman, who are actually co-workers and live in West Yorkshire, England. They both write and record the original music themselves and Casey Sturgeon does the mixing and production side of it too. While they do all the music themselves, the vocals are a different story. Due to not having a set vocalist, they enjoy the freedom of having any vocalist they want for each different song. They choose a vocalist based on the style of the song and what they think would fit best.
