Behind The Artworks: Tim's Favourite - amaConda (2023)

I guess you will have guessed by now that the title, "amaconda" (with an M, yes), might well be a pretty obvious pun based on the word "anaconda". In brief, it plays on the comparing of a rather disruptive multi-national you may not be completely unfamiliar with to an all-choking anaconda. The split head suggests that ultimately it is not so much about the snake (the snake only being a metaphor) but rather about an extremely dangerous human phenomenon: the fundamentally scientific/technological facilitation and maximization of totally deranged, Earth-threatening mass consumption.
