Interviews About Albums: PERVERATION - PUTREFACTION OF INFINITE APOGEE (2023)

In this new interview, we sat down with the Indonesian Brutal Death Metal band PERVERATION to ask questions about their upcoming album "PUTREFACTION OF INFINITE APOGEE"

1. What can you say about this new CD?

For our second album, apart from changing our logo, we also present material that is fresher and faster than our first album with a touch of groove and our own characteristics that are slightly different from our first album.

2. What is the meaning of the CD name?

For the theme of our second album, we tell about the greedy and cannibalistic nature of humans who are greedy and results in the accumulation of disease and damage that continues to happen to themselves and the life around them.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD?

For this album, all the music and arrangements were made by myself (Rama) and with a little help from Jossi Bima to perfect and fill in the vocals on the songs on this album with the lyrics he wrote.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

For our favorite song on this album, we think the song “Abominable Dismembered” is our favorite song.

5. Is there a special message in this CD? If there is what it is?

There doesn't seem to be a special message for metalheads, we just remind you not to be excessive or greedy in eating/doing things that can cause the accumulation of disease and damage around us.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

The lyrics that we want to share with metalheads are the lyrics to the song “Damaging Excrement” only. Because we think these are the lyrics that represent our album, how important it is to maintain health and sanity, haha!

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

For inspiration, maybe this time it's more about bands that we probably often hear/heard by many metalheads everywhere, such as Inveracity, Gorgasm, Disentomb, Cerebral Effusion, Deeds Of Flesh, etc. And we would like to say a big thank you to our God and our parents and our friends and all the metalheads around the world who have supported us all this time and of course, our label boss Steve Green who has been very kind to us. Without all of you, we would never exist.

8. Something to add?

Maybe in addition we just add a message to continue to preserve the culture of buying physical releases and merch from all of your favorite bands because by buying their releases you are helping the band to continue to exist and create their best works for you to listen to wherever and whenever. Thank you for all your support and have a nice day. Cheers!
