Interviews: Amorphous Dominion

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Black Metal band Amorphous Dominion from Thailand. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

Amorphous Dominion is the path of eternal life…..where there is No King of concupiscence and Bloodthirsty, No queen of absurdity, No Tyrants, No Slave, No castles and Injustice as people suffer from that oldest ancient throne, Lie’s propaganda over the decade!!!! And there’s the freedom calls to Live or Die on your own dignity!!!!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Well, I formed this band from what I passionately wanted. it’s my own internal passion. As far as more than 20 years I’ve played with other bands here and every band has its own ways such as Brutal Death, Death Metal, Grindcore, Black Metal, and War/Black Metal styles. And Amorphous's Dominion is what I want to present who I am, as you can hear from what I create as BLACK METAL is part of my darkest hands path.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We have known each other for more than 15 years, some members he also plays with my other bands.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Well, here’s our 666 revelation!!!!

Sunrize Eclipse: Emperor (early),  Celtic Frost (Morbid Tales),   Immortal (early),  Dissection, and Hecate Enthroned (early).

Odium Winterpath: Dissection,   Watain,  The Abyss,  Immortal,  Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult, and Surrender of Divinity.

Miasmic Triumphantor: Darkthrone,  Gorgasm,  Slayer,  Nargaroth,  Prosanctus, Inferi, and  Impaled Nazarene.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It comes from my own dark path as I’m the one who is the songwriter in this band. Mostly all riffs delivered from my desolation spirit and hatred’s forces through the dark melancholy with Oriental rhythmics of the apocalypse.

6. Where was your last gig?

We got invited to perform in Singapore: on January 6th, 2024 as a launching EP-released gig

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere as we can have any great chances to perform and breathe hellfire!!!!!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Emperor, Odium, Satanic Warmaster, Archgoat, Sargeist, Enthroned, Hecate Enthroned, Purewrath, Naglfar, Ugehal, Drowning the Light, Vinterland, Uada

9. Whom not? 

Any mainstream rockstar egotistical acts!

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

We haven’t faced that situation before, let’s comrades just enjoy Black Metal Fucking Attack!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Emperor (early), Immortal (early), Darkthrone (Transylvanian Hunger era), Marduk (early), Vinterland, Odium, Surrender of Divinity (early), Enthroned, Dissection.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Never, hahaha

13. What do you think of your fans?

We are glad to see and get in touch with them, If they like and enjoy our songs and set as well.
