Interviews: Crush The Core

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band Crush The Core from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or did it come out just like that?

It came just like that after searching for the one that was available.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Heavy metal is in our blood forever. For us, it is the best music to play. Other stuff is too boring.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we played in another band together.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

We don't have a favorite. We do like too many bands. From classic rock to thrash metal, the list could be long.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Musically, our hands first. Lyrically speaking, the current moment, the past experiences, and books for one of us. We all write and compose music so it is a mix of ideas from each other

6. Where was your last gig?

Laval (Qc) Canada

7. Where would you like to act?

All over the world would be awesome!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

So many...

9. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really, we like to be onstage. The best advice would be to know how to play your songs very well and know your set well. Don't be intoxicated! Be prepared to have bad stage sound if your band doesn't use a "live tested" in-ear system.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Again, too many to list.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing too weird lol

12. What do you think of your fans?

When they are not discrete, we do love them ;)
