Interviews: Crooked Souls

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band Crooked Souls from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

From a Dayseeker Track "Crooked Soul"

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We love heavy riffs and breakdowns, but we enjoy the softer side of metal or rock as well. There is a lot of flexibility in metalcore.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes and no. 3 of us are from "borntolose" former lineup/band.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Like Moths To Flames, Volumes, Currents, Miss May I, Alpha Wolf.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life experiences or things that we've been through. Mental health especially.

6. Where was your last gig?

The Warehouse in Clarksville TN.

7. Whom would you like to feature with?

Chris Roetter from (LMTF)

8. Whom not?

9. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes in the beginning. Just continue to push, find a groove, and fail techniques

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

The same as the favorite artist.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Can you draw on my thigh and can I hump your leg for a shirt?

12. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are extremely loyal and have followed us around for years at this point. Not sure we would have the motivation to continue half the time without them.

13. What do you think of our site?
