Behind The Artworks: Next Monarch - Black Animals Of Cosmos (2024)

The artwork of 'Black animals of cosmos' was meant to be the logo of the band, and we thought long and hard about what it should represent. I think the logo can harm the band if it's bad, so we knew it's better to do it right, or not to do it at all. We wanted some sort of symbol that would be bold, original, but not pretentious, and clear and obvious when you look at it. The idea of a falling bird resonated with us. We had quite a clear concept when we searched for an artist, and after reviewing multiple portfolios, we asked Riva Ahmad to do the artwork.
