“I crossed the line” talks about the story of Marat, a young lady who lost her family because of war. The tragic event marks her, triggering a removal of her feeling of pity and compassion towards an unjust world. In this World the powerful man who governs everything has no mercy for anyone; he throws his bombs without remorse. Marat wants to replicate with the same venom.

After her loss, everything was taken away from her. Her childhood was erased. Her sensitivity turned into anger against the system. Growing she became an unscrupulous warrior, without fear and mercy... With no feelings! She only sees destruction! Her loss is not erased but only partially forgotten. Like the soldiers who kill on duty, to honor their country, Marat crossed that line between life and death that totally changed the way we perceive these two concepts. She is angry, she wants justice! She will destroy everything in front of her until the system doesn’t change, and she will die with it. Or she will return to her lost childhood. She will embrace that little girl forgotten by the scars of time, to embrace again her forgotten innocence.

HOLE IN THE FRAME is a crossover groove metal band from the south of Italy. They were born in 2014 in Molise. The beginning of the band is marked by the research of a particular sound, moving between the vibrations of the states of mind, without worries or patterns, with no restrictions. In this how Hole’s sound was born: distorted, strong, and gloomy. The alternation of rhythmic and powerful parts of the songs is combined with melodic and light atmospheres, creating the real orientation and identity of the band. The decision to use dark, aggressive, and elaborate sonorities it’s not a random choice because reflects the rejection and pain of contemporary society, bonded to patterns, habits, and plasticity not allow one to realize a pure and honest thought. For this reason, we talk about HOLE IN THE FRAME, as a leak, one way out for everyone! A lifestyle that pulls us far from this corrupt and materialistic system, where values are so different from the past and humility is of little consequence.
