Behind The Tracks: PLUTO THE RACER - I Might Even (Single) (2024)

I Might Even is a story about emotional abuse under the cover of a breakup story.

Lyric-wise, it kind of switches the narratives with the affected speaking through the verses about feeling a strong responsibility for the well-being and even the life of a “friend”, but not knowing what to believe after a series of lies and empty promises.

The other part is speaking through the chorus, making him/her responsible for all the pain and sorrow, even threatening to end his/her own life.

Even though the two are not in a romantic relationship, their actions and consciences create a dependency. Both are aware but can't escape without potentially losing somebody physically or emotionally.
