Band Biographies: Mycena

Mycena is a Croatian experimental rock/avant-garde collective. The idea originated from Aleksandar Vrhovec in 2019, who gathered the same crew to create the first four improvisational psychedelic rock albums. They concluded that era of the band with the release of the live album ‘Live at Funk’ in March 2024. After this, Aleksandar continued to collaborate with Marin Mitić on the next album, working with various session musicians.
